The LED recessed downlight from Frisch-Licht impresses with its square shape and high-quality workmanship made of die-cast aluminum. With dimensions of 22 x 22 cm, it fits perfectly into rectangular ceiling openings and ensures even light distribution with its opal surface light diffuser made of PMMA (acrylic). The closed housing reliably protects the luminaire against dust and splashing water according to IP54 and also provides reliable protection against impacts and vandalism thanks to the IK06 impact protection rating.

Efficient and Long-Lasting LED Technology

The downlight uses fixed built-in LEDs that offer a long lifespan of up to 50,000 hours. With a power consumption of 25 watts and a luminous flux of 2100 lumens, the luminaire produces neutral white light at 4000 Kelvin, characterized by a high luminous efficacy of 84 lumens per watt. The color rendering index (CRI) is over 80, ensuring natural and pleasant illumination, ideal for modern general lighting in a variety of applications.

DALI-Dimmable Control and Easy Installation

The luminaire is equipped with an ENEC-certified LED driver that supports DALI dimming. This allows the brightness to be adjusted individually and steplessly, enabling flexible lighting design. Installation is carried out as a recessed luminaire using practical spring clips, allowing for time-saving quick mounting in hollow ceilings. The product is supplied including the driver and mounting hardware; only the optional installation housing is sold separately.

Versatile Applications and Flexible Options

The downlight is especially suitable for use in offices, educational institutions, hotels, hospitals, as well as in retail and gastronomy. It provides a wide symmetrical light distribution with a beam angle of 95 degrees, making it ideal for general lighting. In addition to the square version, other variants are available in round shape or with different reflectors. Furthermore, a choice between neutral white and warm white light is offered to optimally adapt the lighting to the room.

The downlight operates within a voltage range of 220 to 240 volts and supports mains frequencies of 50 to 60 hertz. It is designed for ambient temperatures from -20 to +35 degrees Celsius and has protection class 2. With an installation depth of 8.9 cm and a visible luminaire height of only 0.4 cm, the luminaire integrates discreetly and elegantly into the ceiling. The weight of 1.5 kg underlines the solid construction, which ensures long service life and reliable operation.
