The GLAN XL LED downlight from Rutec is a high-quality recessed luminaire with a diameter of 32 cm and an installation depth of only 9 cm. It impresses with its stepwise adjustable power consumption from 15 to 21 watts, which can be flexibly adjusted via a DIP switch on the integrated converter. This flexibility allows for an individual light output from 1970 to 2670 lumens, making the downlight perfectly adaptable to various lighting needs.

Individually Adjustable Color Temperature for Pleasant Light

The color temperature of the GLAN XL can also be selected in three steps via a slide switch on the converter: warm white (3000 K), neutral white (3500 K), or a cooler neutral white (4000 K). This ensures the downlight always provides the appropriate atmosphere, whether for cozy or focused lighting. The good color rendering with an index of over 80 Ra guarantees natural and pleasant color reproduction in any room.

High-Quality Materials and Thoughtful Design

The design of the GLAN XL features an elegant round shape made of durable aluminum, which is either matte white powder-coated or glossy anodized. The light optics made of borosilicate glass ensure precise light direction with a beam angle of 60 degrees and homogeneous illumination without disturbing glare (UGR <19). This feature makes the luminaire especially suitable for workplaces with screens, as glare is effectively avoided.

Simple and Safe Installation with Extensive Accessories

The downlight is delivered with extensive accessories, including the operating device, clip springs, mounting brackets, plug, and connection cable. Installation is tool-free thanks to practical tension springs that adapt to different ceiling thicknesses from 1 to 30 mm. The plug & play connector ensures quick and easy installation. Additionally, the operating device supports through-wiring and is suitable for both alternating and direct current, making the installation especially flexible.

With an average service life of up to 50,000 hours, the GLAN XL offers a durable lighting solution. Passive cooling via the trumpet reflector ensures optimal heat dissipation without additional fan noise. Protection class 2 as well as ENEC certification underline the high quality and safety of the luminaire. The low energy consumption of a maximum of 21 kWh per 1,000 operating hours also makes the downlight an energy-efficient choice for modern lighting concepts.
