Versatile LED Downlight GLAN XS from Rutec

The LED downlight GLAN XS impresses with its compact size, featuring a diameter of 17.5 cm and a mounting depth of only 9 cm. It is made from a high-quality aluminum housing, optionally matte white powder-coated or glossy anodized. The borosilicate glass ensures precise light control and even, glare-free illumination. With an IP20 protection rating and protection class 2, the downlight provides a safe and durable lighting solution for a variety of applications.

Individually Adjustable Light Output and Color Temperature

The power consumption of the GLAN XS can be gradually adjusted via DIP switches on the integrated LED driver, ranging from 15 to 21 watts. The luminous efficacy varies slightly depending on the power level, offering up to 2670 lumens of luminous flux. Additionally, the color temperature can be flexibly selected using a slider switch between warm white (3000K), neutral white (3500K), and neutral white (4000K). This combination enables customizable lighting that can be optimally adapted to different requirements.

High Efficiency and Long Service Life

With a luminous efficacy of up to 131.4 lm/W, the GLAN XS ensures energy-efficient lighting. The energy consumption is a maximum of 21 kWh per 1000 operating hours. The LED technology guarantees an average lifespan of 50,000 hours, significantly reducing maintenance and replacement costs. After this period, the luminous flux retention is still about 70 percent, ensuring consistently good light quality. Thanks to the integrated converter with plug & play connection, installation is particularly easy.

Glare-Free and Eye-Friendly Lighting

The downlight is equipped with a high-quality silicate glass optic that enables homogeneous and symmetrical light distribution. The glare rating is UGR<19, making the product especially suitable for screen workplaces. With a color rendering index of over 80 Ra, color perception is naturally and professionally supported. Thus, the GLAN XS is ideal for pleasant and efficient general lighting that protects the eyes and increases work comfort.

Easy Installation and Extensive Accessories

The installation of the LED downlight is tool-free with practical tension springs that flexibly adapt to ceiling thicknesses from 1 to 30 mm. The included accessories comprise the driver, clip springs, mounting brackets, a light color switch, as well as connection cables and plugs. The mains connection is made via terminal block or secondary connector plug, ensuring simple and secure installation. Thanks to the possibility of through-wiring, the downlight is also suitable for larger lighting installations.
