High-Quality LED Renovation Downlight DIONE

The LED renovation downlight DIONE from Deko-Light impresses with its first-class craftsmanship made of aluminum and plastic as well as an elegant silver design. With a diameter of 8.2 cm and a shallow installation depth of only 3.8 cm, it fits perfectly into standard drill holes with a diameter of 6.8 cm. The luminaire is specially designed for ceiling mounting and is ideal as an energy-efficient general lighting solution with a power consumption of only 8.5 watts and a luminous flux of 480 lumens. The COB LED is firmly installed and delivers excellent color rendering with a CRI value of over 95, making colors appear especially natural.

Flexible Light Control and Pleasant Light Color

The downlight convinces with its dim-to-warm function, which continuously changes the light color from ultra warm white to warm white (1800 to 3000 Kelvin) when dimmed down. This creates a cozy atmosphere that can be individually adapted to the respective mood. The beam angle of 36 degrees provides a medium-wide beam distribution with symmetrical light emission. Additionally, the LED module can be tilted by 30 degrees, allowing targeted alignment of the light cone and thus offering a flexible lighting solution.

Simple and Time-Saving Installation

The installation of the DIONE recessed spotlight is tool-free thanks to the supplied spring clips and the quick-terminal connection box. This enables convenient through-wiring so that multiple luminaires can be easily installed in series. The connection box also supports the use of NYM cables (3x 1.5 mm²) and guarantees a secure connection via terminal clamps. The maximum material thickness is 1.3 cm; with a ceiling thickness of 13 mm, only a cavity of 27 mm is required on the backside. This makes the downlight ideal for both new installations and replacement of existing luminaires.

Durability and Technical Safety

With an average lifespan of 50,000 hours and a robust protection class 2, the DIONE downlight ensures reliable and long-lasting use. The luminaire is designed for ambient temperatures from -20 to +40 degrees Celsius and features a high switching endurance of up to 25,000 switching cycles. The external dimmable LED driver and the upstream connection box ensure stable operation at a mains voltage of 220-240V and a frequency of 50-60Hz. The luminaire complies with protection class IP20, making it ideal for dry rooms.

Accessories and Extended Applications

The scope of delivery includes the LED downlight, the matching driver, the connection box, spring clips, and all necessary components for through-wiring. Optional accessories such as interchangeable reflectors with a 60° beam angle or frosted diffuser discs are available to create even softer light. For special installation requirements, safety distance holders and reducing rings are available. The DIONE LED downlight thus offers a versatile and modern lighting solution that can be flexibly adapted to various requirements.
