Modern LED Renovation Downlight DIONE IP44

The LED renovation downlight DIONE from Deko-Light combines contemporary design with high functionality. With a diameter of 8.2 cm and an installation depth of only 3.9 cm, it fits perfectly into standard ceiling cutouts of 68 mm. The high-quality workmanship made of aluminum and plastic with a brushed nickel finish ensures an elegant appearance. Thanks to the IP44 protection rating, the downlight is splash-proof and therefore particularly durable.

Efficient and Pleasant Light Quality

The downlight uses a fixed COB LED with a power output of 8.5 watts and delivers a luminous flux of 480 lumens. The light color ranges from ultra warm white to warm white (1800–3000K) and offers an especially natural color rendering with a CRI of over 95. The dim-to-warm function allows the light color to be continuously warmed when dimmed, creating a cozy atmosphere. The light distribution is symmetrical with a beam angle of 36°.

Flexible Orientation and Easy Installation

The LED module can be swiveled by 30°, allowing the light to be directed precisely. Installation is as a recessed luminaire with fixed spring clips that guarantee secure mounting. The connection box with quick terminal and through-wiring enables tool-free, fast installation. The connection cable is sufficiently sized at 3 x 20 cm to ensure flexible wiring. The external, dimmable LED driver is included and supports both leading-edge and trailing-edge dimmers.

Durability and Energy Efficiency

With a lifespan of up to 50,000 hours, the downlight offers a long-lasting lighting solution. Energy consumption is only 9 kWh per 1,000 hours, which means high energy efficiency. Even at the end of its lifespan, the light source retains 70% of its luminous output. The color consistency with only 5 SDCM ensures that when using multiple luminaires, the light remains color-consistent.

Versatile Accessories and Application Options

The scope of delivery includes the luminaire, a connection box, spring clips, and through-wiring for uncomplicated installation. Optional accessories such as a 60° exchange reflector, a frosted diffuser for soft area lighting, as well as safety spacers and reduction rings are available. These allow individual adjustment of the downlight to different installation situations and lighting needs.
