The LED recessed downlight from Frisch-Licht impresses with its elegant, round design in white and its high-quality workmanship made of powder-coated aluminum and polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA). With a diameter of 9 cm and an installation depth of 7.6 cm, this luminaire is perfectly suited for ceiling mounting. The recessed LED module, together with the opal diffuser, ensures pleasant glare reduction and uniform light distribution with a beam angle of 90°. The luminaire is switchable and comes including the light source as well as a suitable driver.

Energy Efficiency and Light Quality

With a power consumption of 8 watts and a luminous flux of 900 lumens, the downlight offers an excellent luminous efficacy of 112 lm/W. The color temperature is neutral white at 4000 Kelvin, providing clear, pleasant light ideal for many applications. The average lifespan of up to 50,000 hours guarantees long-lasting illumination, although the integrated LED chip is not replaceable. The low energy consumption of 8 kWh per 1,000 hours makes this product particularly sustainable and cost-efficient.

Robust Protection and Safety Features

The LED downlight has an IP44 protection rating, offering protection against contact, foreign objects, and splashing water. This makes it suitable for moisture-prone areas such as bathrooms or kitchens. The Class II protection additionally ensures safe use without grounding. The luminaire is designed for an operating voltage of 220-240V~ and operates reliably within a temperature range of -20 to +35 degrees Celsius. With a weight of only 0.3 kg, installation is simple and secure.

Easy Installation and Versatile Applications

The product is specially designed for recessed installation in hollow ceilings and requires a cutout with a diameter of 8.5 cm. The maximum material thickness during installation must not exceed 2.5 cm. The visible part of the luminaire measures 9 cm in diameter with a height of only 0.4 cm, allowing it to blend unobtrusively and elegantly into any ceiling. The LED module is not replaceable, but the downlight impresses with its easy plug-and-play installation including the driver.

The LED recessed downlight is available as a switchable standard version and also in a smart, DALI-controllable variant that allows flexible light control. It convinces with good color rendering (CRI > 80, grade 1B), making colors appear natural and vivid. The light output is direct and provides optimal illumination. For different requirements, various sizes and power levels are also available, with the recessed housing offered separately as an accessory.
