The LED recessed downlight from Frisch-Licht impresses with its modern, square shape and matte white surface. With a size of 22.5 x 22.5 cm and a mounting depth of only 9 cm, it fits perfectly into standardized ceiling cutouts. The light source is permanently installed and non-replaceable but is already included in the delivery. The combination of aluminum, steel sheet, and an opal cover made of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) ensures a durable and robust luminaire that also looks elegant.

Efficient Lighting with Warm White Light

The integrated LED provides a light color of 3000 Kelvin, perceived as warm white, creating a pleasant and inviting atmosphere. With a luminous flux of 1900 lumens and a power consumption of 19 watts, the downlight offers very good energy efficiency. The light distribution is direct and evenly symmetrical with a beam angle of 85°, illuminating the room evenly and without glare. The color rendering index (CRI) is over 80Ra, which makes colors appear natural and vibrant.

Simple and Flexible Installation

The downlight is designed for recessed mounting and is delivered including spring clips, diffuser, reflector, and driver. This allows for uncomplicated installation. The mains connection terminal ensures a secure connection to the 220-240V power supply. The luminaire is switchable and operates at a mains frequency of 50 to 60 Hz. Thanks to protection class 2 and IP21 certification, the device is protected against the ingress of solid foreign objects larger than 12.5 mm and is resistant to vertically falling drops of water.

Durability and Safety

The average lifespan of the LED is an impressive 50,000 hours, making the recessed downlight particularly low-maintenance. In addition, it operates with a safe low-voltage direct current (SELV) from the output of the driver, ensuring additional operational safety. The ambient temperature in which the downlight functions reliably ranges from -20 to +35 degrees Celsius. This makes it ideally suited for a wide range of indoor areas.
