Efficient LED Compact Lamp as a Retrofit Solution

The EssenceDuo 26 EM LED compact lamp from Radium offers a modern and energy-saving alternative to conventional compact fluorescent lamps. With a power consumption of only 10 watts, it replaces a 26-watt incandescent lamp, resulting in a significant reduction in energy consumption while providing a high luminous efficacy of 104 lumens per watt. This lamp is specially designed for direct operation on 230V alternating current and conventional ballasts (KVG), making the replacement of existing light sources particularly easy.

Warm White Light with Excellent Color Rendering

The EssenceDuo 26 EM emits warm white light with a color temperature of 3000 Kelvin, providing a pleasant illumination. The color rendering index (CRI) of over 80Ra ensures natural and vibrant color reproduction, which is especially important in living and working areas. The lamp has a symmetrical beam angle of 280 degrees, allowing for uniform all-around lighting.

Durability and Reliability

With an average lifespan of 30,000 hours, the LED compact lamp is characterized by a particularly long service life. Additionally, it is designed for up to 20,000 switching cycles, which meets everyday demands very well. The lamp is robustly constructed and made of high-quality glass. It operates reliably within a temperature range of -20 to +45 degrees Celsius and maintains its full light output without blackening even at cold temperatures.

Environmentally Friendly and Safe Technology

Unlike conventional fluorescent lamps, the EssenceDuo 26 EM emits no UV radiation and contains no mercury, which protects the environment and simplifies disposal. The LED technology also provides photobiologically safe lighting (protection class RG0 according to EN 62471). The low flicker value of 1.0 and a stroboscopic effect of only 0.4 minimize potential eye strain and create a comfortable lighting atmosphere.

Flexible Application and Technical Details

The lamp is compatible with G24d and G24q bases and features a compact tubular shape measuring 3.4 cm in diameter and 16.4 cm in length. Another advantage is the switchable function, which allows adjustment of the light output. The EssenceDuo 26 EM has a power factor of 0.9, making it very efficient and placing minimal load on the power grid. Additional versions are available for different ballasts, allowing versatile use of the lamp.
