The LED surface-mounted downlight SOLID BIJOU 1.0 from Wever & Ducré impresses with its compact and robust design made from powder-coated and wet-painted aluminum die-cast. With a diameter of 6 cm and a height of 13 cm, this cylindrical design object is ideal for a variety of lighting purposes. The elegant champagne-colored metallic finish gives any room a modern and stylish atmosphere. The downlight is specially designed for surface mounting and offers direct light distribution with a beam angle of 27°.

Energy-Efficient and Long-Lasting LED Technology

With a power consumption of only 5.6 watts, the SOLID BIJOU 1.0 produces a luminous flux of 500 lumens and achieves a luminous efficacy of 89 lumens per watt. The LED is permanently installed and non-replaceable, but particularly durable with an average lifespan of up to 50,000 hours. Thanks to the integrated LED driver and direct connection to 230V AC mains voltage, installation is straightforward and quick. The mains frequency of 50-60 Hz ensures stable operation.

Excellent Light Quality and Color Rendering

The surface-mounted downlight emits warm white light with a color temperature of 3000 Kelvin, providing a pleasant and cozy lighting atmosphere. Especially noteworthy is the high color rendering index (CRI) of over 90, which enables a natural and vivid representation of colors. The color rendering grade 1A guarantees excellent quality, while the color consistency with a MacAdam ellipse value of 2 SDCM ensures minimal color deviations between multiple luminaires. The light distribution is medium-wide and fixed downward.

Flexible and Easy Operation Thanks to Dimming Function

The LED module of the SOLID BIJOU 1.0 is dimmable via phase-cut dimming, allowing flexible adjustment of light intensity. This enables the atmosphere to be individually tailored as needed. Installation is done via a practical clamp connection included in the scope of delivery, as well as the LED driver and the LED module itself. A dimmer is not included but can be added separately to fully utilize the functionality of the luminaire.

Safe and Versatile Application

The downlight meets protection class 1 and has an IP20 rating, reliably protecting it against dust. The photobiological risk class RG1 guarantees safe use without health risks from the light. Weighing only 0.32 kg, the luminaire is easy to handle. The SOLID series also offers various versions in housing colors, light colors, and beam angles, so that the right solution is available for every taste and application.
